Today, I officially started documenting the development of my custom AI agent.

What I completed

Selected Pi Agent as the primary reference
Selected OpenCode as another architectural reference
Decided to build a Developer Knowledge Service MCP as the first component
Chose to connect the first version directly to Pi Agent instead of building the entire harness from scratch
Started UltraWork before leaving work to kick off the first implementation cycle

Start with an existing agent framework to validate the workflow, then gradually replace each component with my own implementation.

The goal is not simply to build another MCP.

It is to build an AI agent that is truly my own, one component at a time.
