Agent Build Log — Episode 030

Not much happened today.

I started out building an Agent Gateway.

The idea came from OpenClaw’s gateway: keep only one Agent runtime running, while allowing users to interact with the same Agent through multiple interfaces.

It sounded like something I needed.

But halfway through building it, I started questioning that assumption.

For what I’m actually trying to build, I may not need a gateway at all.

I already have a Desktop GUI, which makes my setup different from OpenClaw and its browser-based interface.

So in the end, I removed the gateway.

For now, this Agent won’t have a gateway like OpenClaw does.

Maybe one day I’ll add it back.

Who knows?
