I didn’t make any progress on the main track today either.

Instead, I spent some time looking into open-source tools that work a bit like Firebase Remote Config, but also come with proper feature toggle support.

So far, I’ve narrowed it down to two candidates: Unleash and Flagsmith.

I need something that works across iOS, Android, and Web.

Ideally, I want it to feel as close to Firebase as possible, while still being self-hostable and usable commercially.

For now, I’ve only narrowed the list down to these two.

Tomorrow, I’m going to take a closer look at the differences between them and figure out which one fits my needs better.
