I Turned Marv[in]sight into an App So More People Can Find What I’ve Written

I have always wanted more people to find the things I have left on this website.

The site holds technical notes from my years building iOS apps. It also holds what I learned later while studying AI, working with coding agents, and building an Agent of my own.

Some posts document the approach I eventually chose. Others preserve the problems I ran into, the calls I got wrong, and why I changed direction afterward.

That purpose became clearer when I started writing the Agent Build Log.

The log records what the Agent eventually built and why I made each choice along the way: how I chose a model, how I connected the tools, why I threw out an architecture, and what happened when an idea that looked reasonable met the real implementation.

One More Way to Find the Work

Content that lives only on a website often waits for someone to search for the right problem before it gets seen.

I built the Marv[in]sight Android app to give the site another way to be found and read.

The app includes the website posts, the Agent Build Log, and videos from Marvin Builds. Once the content has synced to the phone, it remains available for offline reading.

The app gives years of technical notes and my ongoing development log somewhere else to meet a reader beyond the browser.

I Want to Keep the Development Process

The Agent Build Log has become an important part of what I am working on now.

I write down the decisions I make, including the wrong approach, the first attempt that failed, and the day when I reverse a choice I made the day before.

Some entries end without a clean answer. They still show what an Agent goes through as it moves from an idea to a working implementation.

I hope these records remain useful beyond my own work. Someone building something similar may find one failed attempt, one architecture decision, or one test result that helps them move forward.

The Website Is Still Where the Content Begins

The first version of Marv[in]sight is now available on Google Play.

The website will remain the source of everything I publish. I will keep recording the implementation work, the failures, and the final decisions, and new posts will continue to sync to the app.

If one post or one development note helps someone avoid a wrong turn, the app has done what I built it to do.
