Lian Bu Support
Lian Bu is a Mac app for AI-powered Roundtable discussions. If you need help, email atimis19@gmail.com.
System requirements
- A Mac with Apple silicon
- macOS 14 Sonoma or later
- An internet connection and an account with at least one supported AI provider
Get started
- Install and open Lian Bu from the Mac App Store.
- Open Settings → Providers and connect a provider account. The provider handles sign-in. Your provider may charge for usage under its own plan or API pricing.
- Open Guilds → Roundtable and choose a discussion topic, or write your own question and context.
- Add 2–6 participants, choose a provider and model for each, and select a moderator.
- Choose how many rounds to run, then start the discussion. You can pause it, add direction, resume, stop, or ask the moderator to summarize.
Each participant sends the discussion context needed for its turn to its selected AI provider. Review the provider’s terms before sharing sensitive information. Discussion history is saved locally on your Mac.
Troubleshooting
- A provider cannot sign in: Check your internet connection, then disconnect and reconnect it in Settings → Providers. If the provider opens a browser, complete sign-in there and return to Lian Bu.
- A discussion will not start: Make sure every participant has a connected provider and that its selected model is available to your account.
- A reply fails or stops: Check your provider’s service status, account access, and usage limits. You can resume a paused discussion or start a new one.
- You need to remove discussion history: Open Roundtable history and use the meeting’s menu to remove it. For other local app data, email support for guidance before deleting files.
When contacting support, include your Lian Bu version, macOS version, what you were doing, and any error message. Please remove API keys, passwords, private conversation text, and other sensitive information from screenshots or messages.
